Our Programs

Fortified Minds Educational Foundation implements its activities under three core Programs:

Keep Girls Engaged in Education

This outreach program focuses on improving menstrual health, confidence, and school attendance among underserved girls through education, support, and access to essential menstrual products. The program is currently implemented across partner schools in Ibadan, Oyo State.

What the program delivers:

  • We educate girls on menstrual health, hygiene practices, and the safe use of menstrual products to build confidence and understanding.
  • We create safe, interactive spaces where girls can ask questions, challenge myths, and discuss menstrual and emotional wellbeing openly.
  • We provide sanitary pads to reduce period poverty and support consistent school attendance during menstruation.
  • We carry out research and data collection to understand the needs of the girl child to improve the design and impact of the program.

Impact:

  • Improved knowledge and understanding of menstrual health and hygiene among participating girls.
  • Increased confidence for girls to manage their periods safely and with dignity.
  • Reduced school absenteeism linked to menstruation and period poverty.
  • 100% increase in SRH awareness.

Mental Health Program

In line with our school enrichment initiative, our Mental Health Program will kick off as a six-month initiative designed to strengthen students’ mental well-being. The program will run across six modules, delivered once a month by trained mental health facilitators. This structured approach will help students develop healthy coping skills and improve their overall well-being.
